Maximum part of the world still comes below the poverty line. An extremely large population is still struggling to survive without even the most basic necessities. They have little or no food to eat, no shelter to live in and are forced to drink contaminated water. Because of the brutal poverty, millions die every year in which most of them are children.
There are many children suffering from starvation and diseases while some due to war. Some of them lost their homes and families because of a sudden, terrible crisis like earthquake and tsunami. All these are affected by some or the other disasters that are of no fault of their own. Many of these children also face the horrific instances of abuse and exploitation.
According to UNICEF, “over 1.4 million children die annually from such kind of illnesses” and approximately 2 million children die every year because of insufficient and inappropriate vaccination. In fact, nearly half of the world's population lives below poverty. Thankfully, today there are number of caring Christian charities that aim to help these poorest people.
Most of the donation charity travel to the world's poorest countries in order to provide them both practical and solace assistance. These charities work with several church groups and individuals from all across the world and are dedicated to help those in needs. Some of the charity aims to provide emergency assistance while others offer more long-term solutions.

With their efforts and hard work, they make an immense difference in the lives of the poorest people. Charity donations are a great way to help the world less fortunate. As most of the charitable organizations require funds to provide food, shelter and other amenities to the poor, so their main source of funds is through donations from individuals, corporate houses and other organizations. Also, a part of the income received from parties or functions is offered to charities.
